Cleaning Operative (Casual)

About the Role

We are seeking Casual Cleaning Operatives to work as needed at St. Catherine’s Health Centre, Derby Rd, Birkenhead CH42 0LQ, reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting designated areas (including toilets, showers, fixtures and fittings) using powered equipment where appropriate.
• Moving furniture as required.
• Ensuring all duties comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act, statutory and company instructions and any other legal requirements.
• Assisting in other establishments when required.
• Responding to incidents such as accidents, fires, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and completing necessary reports.
• Attending meetings as requested.
• Adapting duties as needed during staff absences.
