Job Summary

North Yorkshire Council is looking to fill a cleaning role at Sleights School near Whitby. The position combines standard cleaning duties with caretaker responsibilities during early hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and cleaning sanitary fittings.
• Work between 3.30pm and 6pm, with flexibility on start and finish times.
• Complete cleaning tasks within the allocated 12.5 hours per week; hours may be reviewed during probation.
• Assume caretaker duties such as unlocking the site, setting the alarm and ensuring full security after cleaning.
• Work from 6.45am to 7.45am for caretaker tasks, with flexibility on start and finish times.
