Job Description

An orphanage cleaner's job involves maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the orphanage facilities.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning: Cleaning rooms, restrooms, and other areas of the orphanage, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Sanitizing: Disinfecting and sanitizing rooms and restrooms with bleach and other disinfectants
• Stocking: Restocking dispensers, emptying trash, and replacing liners
• Laundry: Transporting dirty linens to the laundry room and restocking rooms with clean linens
• Supporting the team: Working with team members to ensure the orphanage is kept clean and tidy
• Maintaining supplies: Working with the stock controller to maintain sufficient supplies of cleaning materials
• Promoting good relations: Promoting good relations between staff members, parents, and children
