JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist or designate, the Clean Room Technician works in a Clean Room environment to prepare medication compounding. While maintaining model standard of sterile Compounding, the Clean Room Technician, will ensure compounding is performed based on standard SOP including environmental monitoring. The Clean Room Technician may help prepare medications, complete sterile compounding of medication, perform sterility testing and maintains the Clean Room and equipment, and monitor inventory.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·Maintainmodel standard of sterile Compounding in the Clean Room

·Maintain daily environmental monitoring.

·Retain Clean Room standards through cleaning and disinfection protocols.
