Classroom Assistant, Per Diem - ALSP

Provide direct support for participants taking recreational classes through the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Skills Center. Participants in the program are 18 and older, and may have a variety of developmental, emotional, and behavioral problems, including Autism Spectrum Disorders. Duties may include managing participants before and after classes, providing direct support in small groups or individually as needed with adult participants helping prepare and clean classrooms,. This position will work in collaboration with members of the staff including; Operations Lead, Program Manager, Instructors and other Classroom Assistants. Provide oversight of participants in classes and community based outings, adhering to staffing ratios. Work to develop rapport with participants, effectively engaging them in tasks and classes.

**Required Education and Experience**
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
