Classroom Aide - St. Mary's Daycare Center - PRN

**Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide care and educational services to children under the supervision and guidance of the lead teacher (Teacher I).

**Employment Qualifications**

+ Knowledge generally acquired through school experiences.
+ Knowledge generally acquired through The Teen Volunteer Program with Bon Secours Family Centers.
+ Incumbent must successfully meet the requirements indicated in the Code of Virginia and obtain and successfully _complete background checks as required by the Code of Virginia._
+ Minimum 16 years old.

**Essential Job Functions**

+ Prepares and implements educational activities under the direction of the Lead Teacher.
+ Supervises play activities, meals and rest time of the children.
