Class Teaching Assistant

Key Stage Two Teaching Assistant : 18.75 hours (5 mornings from 8:45 to 12:30pm) 

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and energetic person with proven skills who can provide support for children and the class teacher. They will need to be able to plan and lead intervention groups.

This post will suit candidates who are committed to working positively in order to provide the best learning opportunities for pupils and who are committed to developing themselves professionally. They will have excellent inter personal and communication skills and may have previous experience of working with children with special educational needs.

Start date: Tuesday 1st September 2026

Hours: 18 Hours 45 Minutes per week, term time only (8.45am – 12.30pm every morning from Monday to Friday)

Salary: Hay 10 ( FTE £26,824) This is a fixed term contract for a year and may be extended.
