Class 2 HIAB Driver

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver for our client, a leading independent Builders' Merchant, based at their Seahouses branch.

This is a temporary relief cover position, however, there is regular work available for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and professionalism.

The Role:

• Delivering building materials and timber to trade and residential sites across the local area.
• Operating a vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB) safely and efficiently for loading/unloading.
• Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and maintaining records.
• Acting as a professional face of the company at the point of delivery.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

• Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 17:00.
• Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour.
• Overtime: Paid at x1.5 (£24.75 per hour) after 8 hours worked each day.
