Starting rate for Class 2 HGV Driver is £14.53, OT rate (after 40 hours) is £21.80 per hour
We have depot Musselburgh
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm plus overtime after 40 hours of work. Extra shifts on Saturdays available.
Duties of Class 2 HGV Driver
* Operate HGV in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
* Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely collection and drop-off of goods.
* Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, adhering to safety standards.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in compliance with legal requirements.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes.
