Class 2 Drivers

GI Group is recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers for a Temp‑to‑Perm role.

Shift Pattern

• Afternoon/evening start times on an ad‑hoc basis
• Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday
• Ad‑hoc weekend work available (Friday, Saturday & Monday)
• Average 9‑hour shift

Pay & Benefits

• All hours paid at £19.74 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks
• Perform 4–8 deliveries per shift
• Manage heavy manual handling
• Deliver raw, prepared and ready‑to‑heat meals to restaurants, pubs, hotels and kitchens
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments

Requirements

• Presentable appearance, eye for detail, positive attitude
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes
• Valid, in‑date tachograph & CPC
