Class 2 Driver

Rapid Recruit are currently seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client based in Nelson.

This is a great opportunity to work as part of a supportive team, carrying out waste collection services across local areas.

Position Details:

* Hours: 7.00am – 3.00pm

* Pay: £13.47 per hour

* Location: Nelson

Key Responsibilities:

* Follow scheduled routes to collect domestic and commercial waste

* Operate vehicle equipment and carry out manual handling where required

* Ensure all loads are safely secured

* Complete all necessary paperwork, including vehicle checks and collection logs

* Drive safely and in accordance with road traffic laws and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

* CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

* Good understanding of health & safety practices
