Class 2 Driver

GI Group is currently recruiting a Drivers Mate for our client in Launceston (PL15).

Key Responsibilities

• Class 2 Driver duties:
• 10-20 drops per shift.
• Handballing up to 30KG off the vehicle.
• Double manned delivery – a Drivers Mate is supplied.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week.

Pay

£17.48 per hour (including advanced holiday pay).

£19.73 per hour after 12 weeks.

Requirements & Skills

• MUST be in possession of an HGV Class 2 licence, a valid Driver CPC and DIGI cards.
• At least 6 months check‑able Class 2 driving work history.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN offences).
• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and resilient attributes are welcomed.
