Class 1 Driver

Due to an uplift in volumes across our clients North West operations, we are looking to recruit multiple Class 1 Drivers to support ever increasing customer requirements. Role Overview: Class 1 HGV Driver - Store Deliveries & Trunking Shift Pattern: 5 on & 3 off on a rotational basis (flexibility on this is possible) AM start times between 03:00 and 08:00 PM start times between 15:00 and 20:00 Key Repsonsibilities: Delivery of roller-caged goods safely and professionally Completion of daily vehicle checks Reporting vehicle defects Maintaining communication with the transport office Providing excellent customer service Driving responsibly Operating tail lifts and moving roller cages into stores Adhering to site-specific delivery procedures Essential Requirements: Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred but not essential Valid LGV C+E licence Up to date CPC qualification Valid Tacho Good geographical knowledge of UK road networks Working knowledge of drivers' hours regulat...
