Job Description
- Claims management & submission: Assess claim validity, collect documents, notify insurers, and update shipowners. Register and track claim status; ensure timely filing.
- Stakeholder coordination: Liaise with internal teams and Accounts to reconcile claim bookings and respond to insurer/shipowner queries.
- Proceeds & payments: Follow up settlement proceeds, coordinate reimbursement and claim handling fees, and maintain records.
- Reporting: Provide regular claim status reports for external and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- University graduate or diploma or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in marine claims handling
- Background in shipping studies or relevant experience or knowledge
