Overview

We’re expanding our Leeds‑based London Market Claims team, supporting and working closely with our London colleagues across three key lines of business:

• Marine Liability
• Energy (including Renewables)
• Professional & Financial Risks (PFR)

The role will involve handling higher volume, lower‑value claims and forming a vital part of Markel’s Claims Value Proposition. You’ll be aligned to one of the specialist lines but will collaborate widely across the team and London Market partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of London Market claims from first notification to settlement
• Triaging, diarising and reviewing cases, applying Markel’s reserving and claims philosophies
