Civil/Geotechnical Engineer (Mining)

WSP is currently initiating a search for an experienced **Civil/Geotechnical Engineer** for our Elko, NV office. Be involved in projects with our US Mine Waste Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. In this role you will have the opportunity to work as a part of a regional team on challenging mining, heavy civil, and geotechnical projects.

**Your Impact**

+ Working within our mine waste team on civil and geotechnical engineering projects for the mining industry with opportunities to work on projects in other industries
+ Performing engineering tasks such as:
+ Site and material characterization
+ Facility design including grading, storage capacity, and construction quantity evaluations.
+ Slope stability, seepage, consolidation, liner system, and settlement analyses.
+ Permafrost soils and cold region related engineering analyses, design, and thermal m...
