Civil Technician

Inspect, assess, and maintain civil structures by identifying defects, performing structural evaluations, and recommending or carrying out appropriate repairs. Read and interpret engineering drawings, prepare site layouts, specifications, cost estimates, and support civil engineering projects. Conduct quality control and field testing of concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and structural materials in accordance with ASTM standards. Perform material quantity calculations, bearing capacity tests, concrete strength testing, and sampling to ensure compliance with project and quality requirements. Develop preventive maintenance plans, document inspection findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of civil infrastructure.
