The Nunavik Police Service requires the services of a Search and Rescue Coordinator. This position will be on a loan of service to the Department of Civil Security.

The Kativik Regional Government (KRG), a supra municipal body with jurisdiction over the territory located north of the 55th parallel, is now looking for a self‑motivated and dynamic individual interested in joining the KRG to work in the capacity of:

Temporary, Full‑Time (two‑year contract with possibility of renewal)

Under the supervision of the Director of Civil Security, the Civil Security Coordinator – Search and Rescue (SAR) is responsible for coordinating, and managing search and rescue operations throughout Nunavik. SAR planning includes coordination with multiple agencies, risk assessment, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of rescue teams during emergency and non‑emergency operations.
