About the Opportunity

A well-established plaintiff-side civil litigation firm in Salinas is seeking a Temporary Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling personal injury, tort, elder abuse, and product liability matters. This role is covering business needs and will have the potential to be extended.


The ideal candidate will have strong civil litigation experience and be comfortable managing cases from intake through trial preparation while working directly with attorneys and clients.


Responsibilities

+ Support one to two attorneys with active litigation caseloads

+ Conduct client intake and maintain regular communication with clients

+ Manage court calendars and litigation deadlines

+ Prepare and organize pleadings, discovery, and exhibits

+ Draft and respond to interrogatories and discovery requests
