Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation (No Billable Requirement / Chicago Office)
A leading Chicago-based litigation firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its growing civil litigation defense team. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex litigation matters in a collaborative, supportive environment—without billable hour requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle all aspects of civil litigation, including product liability defense, from pre-litigation assessment through trial.
· Take and defend depositions; manage written discovery and case evaluation.
· Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and settlement agreements.
· Represent clients in court proceedings: hearings, status calls, pretrials, trials, and mediations.
