Job Description

Dawson Civil is looking for a motivated Junior Estimator who will skillfully assess costs, collaborate with stakeholders and partners, and apply their industry knowledge to deliver precise and competitive estimates.
In this role you will be a valued member of , working in a permanent, full-time position of Junior Estimator, reporting to the Manager Operations. To be considered for this role, you should have effective interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude and a solid understanding of estimating methods and techniques. Your base location will be Kamloops, BC and will require travel throughoutour great province.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Prepare a comprehensive project cost estimate including; labour, equipment, materials, safety, subcontractors, overhead, taxes, insurance, and mark-up.
Review drawings and understand the contract documents of each tender.
