Civil / Geotechnical Engineer

Civil / Geotechnical Engineer (ROU00377) Reporting to the Superintendent, Infrastructure of the Technical Services group, you will lead the study phase for infrastructure projects, including preliminary design, cost estimation, and procurement support for mining‑related infrastructure such as dikes, dams, tailings storage, access roads, and water management systems.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the study phase for infrastructure projects, maintaining project goals.

Contribute to the preparation of technical studies (preliminary, prefeasibility, and feasibility).

Perform sizing and preliminary design of technical components related to mining infrastructure.

Compare different solutions through technical studies outlining advantages, disadvantages, costs, and schedules.

Identify requirements for equipment, materials, contractors, consumables, and labor necessary for project execution.
