CIVIL ENGINEER/AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER

Summary This position is located in the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Missoula Area Office. You will serves as area, zone or state engineer and is responsible for providing technical guidance and leadership in the overall planning, design, installation, and maintenance of the engineering phases of soil and water conservation practices as well as watershed flood protection programs. Responsibilities Communicates with contractors and field offices regarding all aspects of technical engineering relating to overall planning, design, installation, and maintenance of the engineering phases of soil and water conservation practices. Prepares field designs and sketches with written descriptions of work for construction contract modifications.
