Civil Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Peshawar at the Earthquake Engineering Center, UET Peshawar. The Civil Engineer will support the planning, analysis, and design of civil infrastructure with a strong emphasis on seismic performance and code compliance. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing structural and civil engineering drawings, performing calculations and simulations, and contributing to research and testing activities related to earthquake-resistant design and stormwater management. The role involves collaborating with faculty, researchers, and technical staff, assisting in laboratory and field investigations, and preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation. The Civil Engineer will also help integrate research findings into practical design recommendations, guidelines, and training materials for stakeholders.
