Civil Engineer - Land Use

Job Description
-8-4:30pm- can be flexible on start/end times.
-Onsite 4 days a week, remote 1 day a week.
-Working with Zoning and planning managers.
-Support the Resident Administrator/Engineer in coordinating and managing VDOT resources across residency programs
-Serve as liaison to local governments, representing the company in meetings, committees, and public forums
-Lead communication efforts with stakeholders, providing authoritative information and gathering feedback
-Oversee emergency operations planning, training, and resource coordination
-Act as responsible charge engineer for land development:
-Review and approve subdivision/site plans, rezoning applications, plats, and permits
-Review traffic studies, geometrics, hydraulics, utilities, and environmental impacts
-Provide guidance to localities, engineers, and citizens
-Resolve land development issues and coordinate limited‑access impacts
