Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Children Support Worker to join our team in Lewisham. The Athena service delivers specialist support to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. As a Children’s Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children to recover, build resilience, and feel safe in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse
• Deliver age‑appropriate one‑to‑one and group support sessions
• Support children’s emotional wellbeing, safety, and development
• Work closely with mothers to support positive parenting and family relationships
