Chief Project Engineer - Clearance Required

Job Description
An employer is seeking multiple Chief Project Engineers for a long-term opportunity in the Plano, TX area. The Chief Project Engineers will operate as a hands-on technical and program lead, owning the day-to-day execution of assigned programs from design through integration, test, and demonstration. On a weekly basis, they will build and manage detailed schedules using MS Project, define and adjust scope across rolling three-month planning cycles, and coordinate closely with cross-functional engineering teams (systems, electrical, hardware, and software) to ensure progress toward key milestones. They will track labor, material costs, and staffing plans against forecasts, working alongside Control Account Managers to monitor actuals versus budget and make real-time adjustments as needed.
