SUMMARY

Reports to the Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Manages daily operations of the Perfusion Division of the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Strives to maintain a positive and productive working environment to promote collaboration between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and hospital staff to provide outstanding patient health care. Provides guidance in the achievement of long-term goals for the division. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Job Duties
Operates extracorporeal circulation and autotransfusion equipment during adult cardio-thoracic procedures at UT Southwestern Medical Center and affiliates.

Provides standby support for cath lab procedures at UT Southwestern Medical Center and affiliates.

Operates autotransfusion equipment during liver transplant procedures at Clements University Hospital
