Summary This GS-1640-11 Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist will serve as the Chief of Facilities Management, duty stationed at Cowpens National Battlefield in Gaffney, South Carolina. The incumbent will oversee facility management operations at Cowpens National Battlefield, Kings Mountain National Military Park, Ninety Six National Historic Site, and the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail. This is a permanent, full-time appointment. Responsibilities This position is responsible for all facets of facility management operations at Cowpens National Battlefield (COWP), Kings Mountain National Military Park (KIMO), Ninety Six National Historic Site (NISI), and the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail (OVVI). The OVVI follows the historic trail corridor outside of NPS lands however, the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist provides input and contribution towards activities and decisions related to management of the trail.
