Qualifications

Law graduate with 11 years of relevant experience and 4 years of Bar Enrollment.

Candidate must have at least 4 years of relevant experience as a Functional / Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Study amendments to various laws, rules, and regulations made by federal, provincial, and other statutory bodies.
• Evaluate the probable effect of these amendments on the company’s operations and advise personnel accordingly.
• Anticipate and proactively develop strategies to address changes in regulatory requirements and public policy.
• Review drafts of impending legislation, evaluate their impact, and advise management on protective steps.
• Work with company departments to collect necessary documents related to litigation matters, follow up on lawsuits, and finalize other matters requiring legal input.
