Chief Legal Officer

Gold & Aron Conseil is an executive search company. We are recruiting a CLO on behalf of our client. Our client is a growing Brazilian fintech with strong social impact and evolving from a startup into a disciplined, institutional-grade organization. In order to accelerate growth even more, the firm is seeking a Chief Legal Officer. The Ideal candidate is someone who can lead all legal related initiatives, navigate complex landscapes, build & manage a high performing team, serve as a trusted advisor to the founders and get things done (not as an advisor but as a legal executive-operator). Responsibilities Manage all legal matters (mostly domestic but some international exposure as well). Build, structure, and lead a high-performing in-house legal team, including: (i) Defining clear scopes between in-house vs. external counsel;
(ii) Hiring, developing, and, when necessary, upgrading talent;
(iii) Implementing SLAs, prioritization frameworks, and legal intake processes;
