Chief Estimator

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor construction estimates across a variety of project types and delivery methods, including lump‑sum, unit‑rate, time‑and‑material, construction management, and design‑build.
• Lead a team in the preparation of estimates for major projects.
• Manage and administer departmental functions, including operating budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
• Determine bid strategies to ensure company success and plan, coordinate, and supervise large projects.
• Review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to formal quotation.
• Manage people and oversee bids.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
• Advanced management or technical training preferred.
