Overview
***This position will be physically located in The Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP***
Supervises, operates, and maintains the engineering plant on the U.S. Army 2000 Class LCU. Supervises, operates and maintains the assigned vessel’s propulsion and auxiliary engineering systems. Determines parts, supplies, and material requirements for safe operation of all marine vessels. Supervises engineering watch members. Oversees the preventive maintenance program in conjunction with the Port Engineer and Marine Repair Shops. Accurately inputs O&M data, as well as, projects long range maintenance issues. Ensures the vessel maintains ABS Load-line and U.S. Army standards. Remains on standby/recall status to the vessel during dockside periods, as needed. #LI-CB1
