This pivotal role demands an AMSA Chief Engineer certification and a minimum of 12 months as a First Engineer. You will be accountable for safe operations, equipment management, and maintenance schedules while ensuring all regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the safe operation of all machinery and equipment
• Conduct steelwork repairs and general vessel maintenance
• Issue and manage Vessel’s Work Orders
• Report deficiencies affecting operational safety to the Master
• Liaise with Fleet Technical Manager for technical soundness
