Chief Development and Communications Officer

Position Summary: 
The Chief Development and Communications Officer (CDCO) is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the President and CEO. This executive leads the organization's fundraising, marketing, and communications efforts and serves as the chief ambassador for Sheltering Arms.  

The CDCO partners closely with the Board of Directors, staff, donors, community leaders, and corporate and foundation partners to advance Sheltering Arms' mission and secure the resources needed for long-term sustainability.

The Opportunity: 
The Chief Development and Communications Officer will lead Sheltering Arms' comprehensive fundraising and communications strategy, directing a development program that generates approximately $4 million in annual philanthropic revenue while creating sustainable year-over-year growth.
