Chief Administrative Officer

As the administrative head of the Municipality, the C.A.O. is responsible to provide effective support and advice to the elected Reeve and Council within the framework of the Provincial, Federal legislation and the RM’s municipal by-laws. Providing professional leadership and strategic direction to the management team of the Rural Municipality of North Cypress Langford, the CAO’s responsibilities include the development, implementing and executing of policies, strategies and objectives as approved by Council to address the immediate and long-term needs of the Municipality. Vital to this role is the ongoing open communication and effective relationships between Council, administration, the province, local business, ratepayers and the public. This is an
