Responsibilities


+ Manage safety, environmental, production, and cost parameters associated with the conversion processes in the pulp mill

+ Oversee day-to-day and long-term operations of liquor making, calciner, and evaporator trains

+ Develop competency in other mill operations and assist during call outs or absences of other Assistant Superintendents

+ Promote and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring adherence to safety rules and environmental permits

+ Complete and manage environmental documentation accurately and timely

+ Provide process and technical expertise for liquor making, calciner, and evaporators; troubleshoot operational issues
