Overview

Classic Flyers NZ is seeking a seasoned Chef to support the Kitchen Manager in the everyday procedures of our busy kitchen at a location in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. The operation is seven days a week, so adaptable hours are required to meet the needs of the business. The role involves assisting with day-to-day kitchen operations in a busy environment that includes a café, seminar spaces, and an Air Travel Museum.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Kitchen Manager in day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Prepare and cook high-quality food for the café, corporate events, and large functions.
• Stock control, purchasing, food handling and hygiene.
• Communicate with and support staff in other divisions; collaborate with team members to maintain service standards.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and reliability.
