Chef (Full Time)

Clumber House Care Home, located in the heart of the picturesque village of Poynton, Cheshire, can accommodate 41 residents, including those who require round‑the‑clock general nursing care.

Summary of Position

We are in search of a ‘first class’ Chef to join our team full time, including some weekends. The successful candidate will have culinary and management experience and will be responsible for kitchen functions including ordering supplies, preparation, and maintaining quality standards, sanitation, cleanliness and supervising employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, cooking and serving of meals and snacks throughout the day in line with residents’ preferences and dietary needs (e.g. diabetics, texture‑modified food, vegetarian).
• Stock management and ordering supplies.
