About the role

At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated Chef who can bring their skills and passion for food into our care home kitchen. You’ll play a vital role in preparing and serving wholesome, homemade meals that not only meet nutritional needs but also bring comfort and enjoyment to our Residents every day. This role comes with a £1,000 welcome bonus.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals following the kitchen plan and dietary requirements of residents. Plan menus, source fresh ingredients, and ensure all dishes meet taste, presentation and nutritional standards. Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards, adhering to HACCP and other relevant regulations. Serve meals to residents, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

Qualifications

Recognised qualification, holding an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, and a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. Sound kno...
