Job Description
Aramark is recruiting a Chef Manager for our culinary operations at a large manufacturing facility in Oakville, Ontario. The Chef Manager will prepare daily specials, manage the cafeteria hot line, prepare buffet caterings and oversee our micro‑market outlets.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Chef Manager will focus on team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, client relations and budget management.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare daily specials and manage the cafeteria services for head office employees.
- Prepare catered meals for buffet, delivery or pick‑up services as required.
- Train and manage kitchen staff and coordinate culinary activities.
- Place orders, conduct inventory, schedule staff and source from various vendors.
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food.
- Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality.
