We are seeking a passionate Chef/Cook to join our team at the Malvernvale Hotel in Malvern, VIC 3144.

Position Available

The Malvernvale Hotel is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef / Cook to join the kitchen team on a full-time basis. Depending on skills, qualifications, and experience, the successful applicant may be appointed as either Chef or Cook.

Duties and Responsibilities

Kitchen Operations

1. Prepare, season and cook a range of dishes to a high standard.
2. Ensure timely preparation and service during lunch, dinner and peak periods.
3. Maintain consistency in taste, portion control and presentation.
4. Monitor quality of raw ingredients and finished meals.
5. Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers and other cooking equipment.
