Job Overview
The Chef & Kitchen Manager is a dual-role leadership position responsible for overseeing camp kitchen and housekeeping operations, with a mandate to deliver operational excellence in every aspect of service. The role is accountable for food and meal planning, inventory control, and all administrative functions related to billing, scheduling, and payroll, while maintaining full compliance with Food Safe, WHMIS, and all AOGS operational guidelines. The position requires sound judgment, irreproachable conduct, and strong administrative discipline, with an emphasis on training and supervising kitchen and housekeeping staff to consistently achieve excellence while enforcing AOGS standards, food safety programs, and workplace policies.
