Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the sushi kiosk
- Prepare and present sushi items (nigiri, sashimi, rolls) to company standards
- Ensure quality, freshness, and consistency of all food products
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Supervise and guide junior staff / fresh crew
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of sushi products
- Handle customer enquiries and provide good service when required
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sushi preparation (Japanese cuisine preferred)
- Experience in a supervisory or Chef de Partie role is an advantage
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, hands-on, and good team player
