At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a dedicated chef to bring their skills and passion for food into our care home kitchen. You will play a vital role in preparing and serving wholesome, homemade meals that meet nutritional needs while providing comfort and enjoyment to our residents each day. The position includes a £500 welcome bonus.

Job responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals for residents and staff.

• Plan menus, ensuring variety, taste, and alignment with dietary requirements.

• Maintain food safety standards, including HACCP compliance and cleanliness of the kitchen.

• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and care teams.

• Promote a positive, caring environment for both residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification – S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
