The role involves planning, preparing, and cooking meals that meet dietary, nutritional, and cultural requirements while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard
• Plan menus in line with nutritional guidelines and client requirements
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and stock rotation
• Supervise and support Catering Assistants and kitchen staff
• Monitor portion control and minimise food waste
• Ensure correct use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
