Check Clerk I

**Overview**

Under general supervision and working closely with check clerk lead. Processes data entry transactions. Scanning checks, filing checks, and mailing checks. Performs other clerical duties as requested

**Responsibilities**

+ Performs scanning of return checks
+ Performs filing of return checks
+ Performs data entry processes into a database
+ Performs assigned tasks and projects
+ Verifies and corrects information,
+ Ensure complete and accurate data entries into system
+ Performs other duties as assigned
+ Processes special and recurring reports
+ Mental qualifications include ability to enter data accurately, prepare reports and maintain records
+ Monitors email boxes, inboxes, and other systems to fulfill requested services

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

+ Will be required to lift up to 10 lbs.
