Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Chartwell Retirement Residences, you will provide essential day shift care from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ensure the comfort and wellbeing of residents through attentive medication administration and health assessments.
This role requires a sound understanding of geriatric care and engaging communication with both residents and families. Deliver high-quality nursing services while respecting residents’ heritage and promoting active family involvement for holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine health assessments and observe resident status
• Facilitate medication administration in line with regulations
• Support Health Care Aides through guidance and education
• Foster family involvement with residents
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited LPN program
• Current registration with LPN associations
• Extensive knowledge of applicable health and safety law...
