Chaffee County - Prosecuting Attorney

The 11thJudicial District is hiring prosecuting attorneys! We have all the beauty of Colorado without the traffic
Our district consists of the four counties in the heart of Colorado Fremont (Canon City), Chaffee (Salida), Park (Fairplay), and Custer (Westcliffe) counties.
We currently have an opening in our Salida (Chaffee County) Colorado.
This role will be an entry level prosecutor handling traffic and misdemeanor cases and entails significant courtroom involvement. Involves legal research and writing. Excellent organizational and time management skills is a must along with strong knowledge of legal research and drafting legal documents. Applicant must become proficient in case management software. No previous legal experience required, we will train both in house and statewide.
*ANNUAL SALARY*: -- $85,000 to $88,000 and up depending on experience. Hiring bonus included. Cost of living adjustment in some counties, plus benefits and retirement
