<p>The Pharmacist is responsible for filling medication orders, monitoring patient drug therapies, and providing drug information to healthcare providers. This position oversees the routine operations of the pharmacy department and manages all clinical aspects of patient drug therapy. In the absence of the Pharmacy Director, the Pharmacist may be required to assume leadership responsibilities and perform the essential duties of the Director. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Medication Preparation & Dispensing Prepare, fill, label, and dispense drugs, parenteral medications, IV solutions, and drug containers accurately and safely. Ensure all medications issued to patient care areas meet legal and quality standards. Clinical Pharmacy Services Monitor patient drug therapies for safety, appropriateness, and effectiveness.
